Manotick is a truly unique community that has developed from a very modest beginning to one of the foremost destinations for truly upscale properties. Nestled on the Historic Rideau Canal this picturesque little town has become a favourite for Ottawa's wealthy.  It has a unique small town charm that attracts the even the most descerning buyers. With Manotick you can get your cottage and luxury property all in one, and live in relative close proximity to Ottawa.

Where is it?

Manotick lies along the scenic Rideau River just South of the communities of Barrhaven and Stonebridge.

What makes Manotick Special?

Manotick’s appeal comes from its modest roots as a charming small town that is nestled on one of the prettiest stretches of the Rideau River. Anyone that has lived their will tell you that it has all the character of small town Ontario with a relatively easy commute into Ottawa.
Just driving down the Historic main street gives you the feeling that your in Cottage country not unlike Muskoka or the Kawarthas.
Preservation of the historic elements of the main street vistas has helped create a unique culture within the Manotick community.  The exclusion of the big box retailers has helped enormously.
With the emergence of the neighbouring community of Barrhaven, you are a quick trip to all the big box retailer you might need.
Any inconvenience in the commute is more then made up by the incredible quality of life that you get from living out here.
If your lucky enough to live on the River, it’s like having a year round cottage 40 minutes to town.

Barrhaven has certainly come of age!  The growth in Barrhaven has been nothing short of explosive.  From a sleepy little bedroom community Barrhaven has grown to be almost a satellite city of Ottawa.
Where is it?

Barrhaven is located in the South end of Ottawa just south of the experimental farm north of sister community of Stonebridge and East of Highway 416.
What makes Barrhaven Special?

Not so long ago living in Barrhaven meant you needed to go somewhere else to get anything. Not any longer.
Barrhaven has seen a massive commercial infrastructure build out like few communities in Ottawa have ever seen. The Big box boys have moved into Barrhaven!
The most recent surge in growth was already well underway before the National Headquarter of the RCMP moved to the old JDS Uniphase complex.  This move will only increase the migration to Barrhaven.
